I will check and correct the language and format of your paper. This will help to increase the likelihood of it being accepted by your chosen journal, although there is no guarantee of acceptance. I have particular expertise in a number of subjects.
Please note that I do not work on essays, theses or dissertations.
These are the ways in which I can improve your journal article:
Language
- Checking grammar, spelling and punctuation to make sure they are correct
- Making sure that your writing meets high standards of English in terms of academic style, readability and clarity
Format
I will check that your paper meets the journal’s guidelines on style, length and structure:
- Checking the format of the paper, including the abstract, headings, tables and figures
- Checking the length of the paper
- Checking style points, such as spelling, where these are specified by the journal
- Formatting the references
- Checking that all in-text citations appear in the reference list
A note about content
I focus on the language and format of your paper.
- I do not normally correct the academic content.
- If I notice any structural issues, repetition, contradictions, inconsistencies or inaccuracies as I am checking the language in your paper, I will highlight them.
- However, you are responsible for the basic content, argument, logic and reasoning in your paper.
“Thank you so much. As always, you’ve resolved so much that I’ve missed and I cannot thank you enough.”
